Professional Experience
During my internship at The Gleaner Company (Media) Ltd from May 7 to June 21, I learnt about the practical parts of the Editorial Department, such as how editors check stories, correlate them, and work to get each news article published on time. I also learned how to conduct interviews for feature stories published in The Star. One major highlight was the day we interviewed Nigy Boy. Nigy Boy whose given name is Nigel Hector is a rising Dancehall artiste this interview was highlighting his major achievements in academia.
